How do I add a bill?
Tap the + button on the Bills tab and enter your billing period, due date, amount, and kWh usage.
How do I add a device?
Go to the Home tab and tap "Add Device." Enter the device name, wattage, and how many hours per day you use it.
What is Away Mode?
Away Mode uses your phone's location to detect when you leave home. If you have active devices still running, Gecko can send you a reminder. You can set your home location in Settings.
Is my data backed up to the cloud?
No. Gecko is fully offline. All your data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any server. This also means that uninstalling the app or using "Reset All Data" in Settings will permanently delete your data.
How do I change the currency or kWh rate?
Go to Settings and select your currency from the picker. The default kWh rate for your region will be filled in automatically, and you can adjust it to match your actual utility bill.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Reset All Data" to permanently delete all devices, bill history, and preferences.
